Chess Team News

On Nov 10, the PCMS chess team participated in the 2nd CSCL chess tournament at Lake High School. Team members were Laura Benzing, Ryan Benzing, Brandon Beyman, John Destefano, Riniah Foor, Cayhil Grubbs, Ethan Neidert, Logan Neidert, and Gabriel Russ.

Earning honors and trophies were:
Team Trophy:
2nd place 6-8 grade beginner section: Riniah Foor, Cayhil Grubbs, Logan Neidert, Gabriel Russ

Individual Trophies:
2nd place novice: Brandon Beyman
Medal for winning 3 out of 4 games: Gabriel Russ, John Destefano
